HOW TO WEAR A BLANKET SCARF

Hey guys! It's Maggie from Warrensburg's Crave.
If you come into the store while I am working you are already hearing Christmas music and... I'M SORRY in advance! I just LOVE the winter. The holidays are here, basketball season is starting, and scarves are being worn! Scarves are my absolute favorite accessory. If I could wear them year around I would and trust me I have tried! This winter you have to adorn yourself with the latest and best trend around... Blanket Scarves! These scarves are so big that the possibilities are endless. These scarves don't just have to go around your neck! I did a step-by-step tutorial on my three favorite ways to tie Blanket Scarves.
Traditional (Bandana Way)
1. Start with spreading out the scarf flat and in a large square
2. Fold the opposite corners to each other to create a triangle
3. Grab the scarf by the largest sides corners
4. Wrap the scarf around you so the peak of the triangle is in the front, then wrap the long corners around your back and to the front
This way is so versatile and change any outfit in a heartbeat! A regular white tee shirt can become your new favorite outfit when paired with Crave's Slim Knee-Ripped Jeans and a Blanket Scarf!
Poncho Scarf
1. Start with spreading out the scarf flat and in a large square
2. Fold the opposite corners to each other to create a triangle
3. Grab the scarf by the largest sides corners
4. Wrap the scarf so the triangles peak is in the back and the longer side of the triangle is wrap around your neck to create a cardigan or poncho look
5. Adorn with a Crave belt!
This is one of my favorite ways to transform an outfit completely. I wear my blanket scarves almost everyday during the winter so to change up my look I like to use it as a poncho!
Skinny Scarf
1. Start with spreading out the scarf flat and in a large square
2. Fold the opposite corners to each other to create a triangle
3. Fold the larger side of the triangle down to create a long scarf (I like to hide the triangle peak in a fold I make)
4. Grab the scarf in the middle of the fold you just made and connect the corners
5. Wrap the scarf around you so the matching corners are on one side of your body and the loop is on the other
6. Open the loop and put the matching corners inside the loop and pull
This way is the best way to wear a blanket scarf when you are wearing a coat or vest! It creates the perfect frame for your gorgeous face!!
And always remember the scarf can double as a gorgeous throw on your couch!
Thanks for stopping by guys! Hope to see you adorning yourself with these beautiful scarves soon
