About a year after graduating college, I moved back to my hometown of Clinton, MO where I was working full time at a local bank. With help from my friend Regan, I decided starting an online boutique would be a fun hobby to do in my spare time. After lots of research, hours of searching for the right name, lots of sweat and a few tears, I launched shopcravenow.com in 2013. I filled orders out of my basement, and worked on the website after getting home from work each night. I held trunk shows (who remembers the grand opening at the Elks?!), did photo shoots and ran Crave’s social media outlets.

right- at one time this was my entire inventory and I thought it was a LOT!)

A few short months after launching the website, I realized Clinton’s demand for trendy clothes at an affordable price. I moved the boutique into a small space above a hair salon on the downtown square. I was open a few hours a week for local people to try items on and shop in person!

Crave continued to grow, and when the strain of running it and having a full time job became too much, I took a huge leap of faith and quit the corporate life.  I moved out of the salon and into our current location at 411 Kansas Ave. A few quick renovations and we were open for business Black Friday 2013. I expanded our hours, inventory and I even hired my first employee (hey Kendra!).

In March of 2015, Crave expanded into a gorgeous downtown building in Warrensburg, MO. My second brick and mortar store! We are open 7 days a week, sell clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry, gifts, personalized items, custom clothing and more! I believe the small town feel, support and love is what truly sets us apart. I love seeing our loyal customers, meeting new ones (near and far), and interacting with our fans on social media.

I feel extremely lucky to have the best co-workers and customers around. I love to hear from you! Reading emails and seeing posts on Facebook and Instagram showing how you wear our clothes makes my day! THANK YOU.
